Current Volunteer Opportunities
Crossing Guards Needed:
If you're able and willing to serve the Silver Lake community as a volunteer school crossing guard for the upcoming school year during the morning and afternoon arrival and dismissal periods, please contact or stop by City Hall for an application. You will be subject to a background investigation, criminal history, and reference checks. All training and safety equipment will be provided to you.This is an unpaid volunteer assignment with flexibility, great responsibility, and an excellent opportunity to serve the community and positively interact with students, parents, school staff, and motorists.
